Frisco Women’s League ~ Merry Marketplace 2011 ~ November 18th & November 19th


Join the Frisco Women's League in welcoming the holidays during the second annual Merry Marketplace which is being held November 18th and 19th. This shopping extravaganza will take place at the Frisco Discovery Center at 8004 Dallas Parkway will benefit Frisco Arts and the Sci-Tech Discovery Center. This event will feature family-friendly entertainment from local schools and photos with Santa as well as an exclusive Ladies Brunch. The brunch provides an opportunity for serious shoppers to preview from over 50 vendors before the event is open to the public and it also includes a silent auction.

The market hours for the general public are from 1-7pm on Friday the 18thand from 9am-5pm on the 19th. There will be a $5.00 entry fee that is good for both days of shopping plus you'll earn an entry in the raffle! The Ladies Brunch Exclusive preview party is from 10:00am – 1:00PM on Friday, November, 18. The brunch will be catered by Margaux's Restaurant, and includes cocktails while you shop in an upscale buffet-style format with menu items such as salmon, chicken and asparagus crepes with Bechamel sauce, fruit, decadent dessert and more.

Tickets for the Ladies Brunch Exclusive are $35.00, and can be purchased onlinehere , or you can mail checks to Frisco Women's League, P.O. Box 2151, Frisco, Texas 75034.   • Local Entertainment and Special Guest Miss Frisco 2011
  • Margaux's Catering will be at the event all day serving food and drinks.
  • Children's Crafts, sponsored by Sci-Tech Discovery Center
  • Holiday movies for children, sponsored by Frisco Arts
  • Child Care Services will be available (must be potty-trained)

This year's shopping includes gourmet bakery treats, custom gifts, holiday wreaths, makeup, jewelry, funky fashions from various boutiques and home-based companies, toys, eco-friendly gifts, hair accessories, upscale kitchen and tabletop items, candles, inspirational gifts, purses and totes, and children's clothes.
