To protect the brave firefighters who guard our families, homes, and communities, the WPI Firefighters’ Fund (WPIFF) and Bass Pro Shops host the Stop-Drop-n-Roll Chili Cook- Off in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, TX. For six consecutive years, this Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI)- sanctioned chili cook-off has raised awareness and funds for injured or fallen firefighters and their families.
An October Texas tradition, the annual Stop-Drop-n-Roll Chili Cook-Off brings in thousands of rabid chilienthusiasts nationwide. Admission is free, and all-day chili sample cups are $5 a pop. Every dollar contributed or donated goes directly to the WPIFF.
