BOUNTIFUL BASKET...USE IT OR LOOSE IT... PLEASE SIGN UP!

I just learned about the Bountiful Basket program this morning from athriftymom and I wanted to share it with you here in the DFW area. This is a co-op program where you can get produce and organic produce for cheaper. They have the following locations in the DFW area: Coppell, Frisco, Haslet, Keller, Plano and Justin. (not yet in Fort Worth, which I am so sad about)
You can find out if there is a Bountiful Baskets program in your area by click here.

Here is what she had to say about it:

Normally I tell you to hurry and sign up before the spot are all gone…. as that was the case just a few months ago.  Now we are looking at the possibility of losing sites due to lack of participation.  Normally we have two pick up locations in Caldwell but one didn’t run this week due to lack of sign ups… and the other site was short as well.
SO IF YOU WANT BOUNTIFUL BASKET TO STAY IN OUR AREA…… PLEASE SIGN UP!
This weeks  Bountiful basket  had:
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 5 apples
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 2 garlic
  • 1 yellow squash
  • 1 tub of mushrooms
  • 9 yams
  • 10 plums
  • bag of grapes
  • 5 bananas
  • 2 heads of lettuce
  • 7 pears
Remember this is not just a local deal they have 100’s of locations in many states. It opens Monday at 12 noon and will close at 10pm Tuesday . The spots will fill up quickly so don’t wait. Their website iswww.bountifulbaskets.org .
