Fall & Halloween Events ~ Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex



.  Below are many different events and activities throughout the DFW area this month that will allow the kids to dress in their Halloween best or just enjoy this “Boo-tiful” time of year.

Hulen Mall Pumpkin Party

Preston Royal Village Fall Family Festival

The center will be poised to provide entertainment and fun for the whole family!  The afternoon activities will include games, drawings, a petting zoo, and live performances, including a show by children’s musical entertainer Eddie Coker!  Many of the merchants at Preston Royal Village will be participating with   interactive activities for the kids, prizes, and special treats.


Ft. Worth Boo at the Zoo

Dress the kids in their Halloween Costumes and bring them out to Boo at the Zoo to see the zoo decked out in Halloween decorations while visiting their favorite zoo animals.  There will be games, entertainment and even trick-or-treating for candy!

Disney Store Halloween Dress Rehearsal Party

Come celebrate the season early at Disney Store with a spook-tacular event filled with games, special viewing of Rapunzel’s coronation and a costume parade! Kids, ages 3 and up, who wear their favorite costume will receive a FREE gift.*

Halloween Boo-Ha-Ha – Plano Harrington Library

Kids K-5 are invited to wear their costumes and enjoy Halloween storytime at the Plano Library.  There will even be a “gross-me-out” exploratorium to enjoy!

LegoLand Discovery Center Brick-or-Treat

Kids will have fun using clues to solve the mystery in the Miniland Scavenger Hunt. When you are done, drop your scavenger hunt card at the LEGO Gift Sop to be entered to win 4 tickets to SEA LIFE. Next kids will enjoy Brick-tastic Building with a wide array of bricks available in the LEGO cafe to build whatver their heart desires.
Don’t forget the Costume Contet .Register in the LEGO Cafe to participate in the costume contest! All participants must sign a photo release. A winner from each of the following age categories will be selected: 2 years and under, 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years. Winners will be contacted by phone after event. Sign-up available between 10am -5pm.

Haunts and Hounds – Highland Village

This is an event for families and their furry friends.  Dress in you costume (furry friends too) and register for the costume contest between 2:00 and 2:45pm. Contest will begin at 3:00pm.   There will be judging on the categories of: Best Child Costume (12 and under), Most Creative Costume (12 and under), Best Canine Costume (25 lbs and under), Best Canine Costume (26+ lbs) and Best Canine/Owner Costume.  Children will be entertained with The Monster Bash where funny and friendly characters come to life with a musical comedy celebrating “Haunts and Hounds”. Free trick-or-treating for children 12 and under in costume will begin at the conclusion of The Monster Bash

Dallas Arboretum Family Fun Weekend

Burleson Boo Bash

Join Burleson as they host their annual Boo Bash.  This event will be full of Halloween fun with free trunk or treating for kids ages birth to 12 years old.  There will be games, entertainment, a costume parade and free real pumpkins for decorating for the first 1,000 children.  Plastic pumpkins will be available for the kids who are not in the first 1,000. Burleson Fire Trucks will also be on display for kids to visit and the mayor will read the Halloween Story.


Collin Creek Mall Fall Festival

Dress the kids in their favorite costume and head to Collin Creek Mall for their Fall Festival and enjoy mall-wide trick or treating.  Kids will enjoy craft activity stations, visits with family friendly creatures from Dallas Scaregrounds available for photo opportunities and  even face painting.  You will also be able to take a spin on the prize wheel.

Treat Street In The Fort Worth Stockyards
