Texas Movie Bistro ~FREE Movies for Police, Fire & EMT's in Lake Worth

*Thanks to Benji and Katherine for telling us about this place!*

So, we found that the Texas Movie Bistro in Lake Worth offers free movies to police, firemen, and EMT's (free movies for us! Yay!). We were so impressed that we have been back twice to check it out! *I just want to tell you that this is a big deal, my husband is a movie-fanatic and goes to the movies every single week, rain or shine, and this is his favorite place now* (Fine Print: For 3D Movies you have to pay for your glasses and that is $2.50 per person. Also, Sony movies will not be free the first 2 weeks they come out, and rarely a couple other big hits ~ like BreakDawn, which was a Summit production. However, they were able to provide it free after the first week! )

First impression: awesome! The place is very clean and modern, and the theaters are super nice and new! The food is also very reasonably priced (this is kind of like a Movie Tavern), ranging anywhere from $6-$15. We have watched Puss in Boots and Hugo on this big digital screen! The picture was amazing.

The food is also VERY GOOD! My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza ($8-$9) it's 10-12" around, pretty big, he ate it all the first time and left one piece the second, said he was full, and I could eat probably 1/2 to 3/4 of it depending how hungry I am. (But I am not scared if eating it all either.. I love to eat.. this is a story for another day..)

Warning: This pizza is VERY cheesy, so if you love cheese like me, you will LOVE it, if you don't like cheese that much, then ask them to go easy on it because they are sure not stingy about giving you some cheese! I will be honest... probably one of the best pizzas I have tasted.

I ordered the Hoagie Philly Cheesteak! It sounded really good. Now, if you eat a lot of cheesesteaks like I do, you know that they can either be great, or really bad. Mine also cost between $8-$9 and was VERY GOOD! The only thing I would change is that next time I will ask them for extra cheese, but even with the amount that it came with, it was very good! I was down right impressed! Movie Tavern has nothing on this place (and this is saying coming from a Movie Tavern fan). I ordered Sweet potato fries with it and that was different! Haha! I honestly have not had sweet potato fries in a long time but this one dipped in ranch was heavenly!

This is a little weird at first, but the tables are next to you, instead of in-front of you.. so it takes some getting used to. I am always scared of putting food on my lap because I end up wearing it, but what the heck.. I did it anyway and thank goodness.. a few close calls but no sauce or cheese on my shirt and pants!
