Home Depot Kids Workshop- Kids can make their own free Veterans Day Frame this Saturday, November 5th from 9am – 12pm. Participants will also receive an orange Home Depot apron and project pin.

Join the town in honoring our Veterans.  A family picnic will be held from  1:00pm-2:00pm with
free hot dogs, cake, and lemonade. From 2:00pm-3:00pm, the Town will host a Veterans Day ceremony which will include a Veterans Review where approximately 200 local Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and ROTC units parade before the Veterans in uniform.

Events are planned throughout the day to include animal demonstrations, blessing of your animals, spin to win prizes for the kids, jump houses and a children’s activity area. There will also be a pet parade where you and your dog can compete for top honors and prizes will be awarded. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase and every penny spent goes toward supporting the Richardson Animal Shelter and Animaluv’s goal to provide assistance to the shelter for medications, spay/neuter and other projects. Admission is $1 per person and Micro-chipping will also be available at the discounted fee of $14/per animal.
