(UPDATED) Update on $10 Brita Pitcher Rebate ~ They Are Accepting The Rebates!!

Updated: 1/20:  Brita announced they ARE accepting the rebates after all!  Whew!! (But to be really honest, I would still return mine just in case they change their minds again)

We have a very sad update about the Brita Pitcher $10 Rebate Offer. For whatever reason, Brita has decided not to honor the rebates being sent in. You can read more about this turn of events on the Brita Facebook page.

In case you were able to print the rebate form, purchase the pitcher, and send the form in before it was pulled from their website, we’re very sorry to tell you that you will not be receiving the $10 check from Brita.
Here are some ideas on how to get your money back on your purchase:

-Return your Brita and get your money back.
-Voice your concern on their Facebook wall
-Call Brita and ask for your receipt back if you already mailed it so that you can return it.
-Even if you don’t have a receipt, if you have not opened the box yet, you can return it to Target or Walmart & get a gift card back.

While we’re not sure of all the reasons for this move by Brita, we did notice that after the rebate was pulled from the Brita site, that there were some sites that had uploaded the pdf file onto their server and were encouraging coupon shoppers to continue printing it for the $10 from Brita. This is a very unfortunate turn of events and it’s sad to see dishonesty when it comes to these sorts of files and rebates. It is important to remember that these coupons and rebates represent real money earned by the companies that support families just like ours.

Thanks for the heads up, Saving Cents With Sense and mydallasmommy
